ABOOBAKER JEENA

Aboobaker Jeena passed away tragically on Wednesday 27 October 1993. “Baajie” Jeena, as he was affectionately known, was a founder member of our School. He served on the Board of Management and on various committees of the Board. He was a dedicated man and this was illustrated by the fact that he always put the interests and well-being of others before his own.

Baajie will be remembered fondly by everyone he came into contact with. He never flinched in the face of adversity and faced whatever problems and difficulties that arose with strong will. Baajie was generous and kind to a fault. He rendered unflinching service to our school and to his fellowmen. Baajie was a pillar of strength. His courage, wisdom, compassion and humour will always be remembered and cherished. Baajie was an inspiration to all who were lucky enough to know him.

The courage, charm and enthusiasm which Baajie displayed at all times will remain a continuing inspiration. His infectious laughter and happy disposition will be missed. Baajie will be remembered for his endearing qualities.

Baajie Jeena was a remarkable man and will be missed by all those who knew him.

May Allah SWT shower His infinite mercy upon Marhoom Aboobaker “Baajie” Jeena and grant him Jannatul Firdous. Ameen.
