[repeated recitation of Surah al-ikhlas] to be insignificant. Rasullulah (SAW) therefore said: “I take an oath by that Being in whose control is my life , it certainly equals one third of the Qur’an
” – [Bukhari]
Abu Sa’id al-Khudri (RA) reported that the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said to his Companions, “Are any of you unable to recite a third of the Qur’an in a night?” That was difficult for them and they said, “Which of us is able to do that, Messenger of Allah?” He said, “[The surah] ‘Say: He is Allah, Absolute Oneness, Allah, the Everlasting Sustainer of all’ (112) constitutes a third of the Qur’an.’” (Sahih al-Bukhari 6:61 #534, Riyad as-Salihin by Imam an-Nawawi Ch.183 #1010)
P.S – if you recite surah ikhlaas … 100 times today …. You will get the reward for reciting the Quraan 33 times …..
In one minute you can recite Soorat al-Ikhlaas (Qul Huwa Allaahu Ahad) 20 times, reciting rapidly and silently. Reciting it once is equivalent to one-third of the Qur’aan. If you read it 20 times it is equivalent to reading the Qur’aan 7 times. If you read it 20 times in one minute each day, you will have read it 600 times in one month, and 7200 times in one year, which will be equal in reward to reading the Qur’aan 2400 times. And which of Allahs favours do you deny?
Surah Ikhlas recited 200 times daily gets forgiveness of 50 years of sin
Hazrat Anas (RA) has said that Rasualllah (SAW) has said, “if anyone recites 200 times every day Surah Ikhlas 200 of his (minor) sins committed over 50 years will be blotted out of his record; but, if he has to pay loan to any one, that will not be forgiven.” (At-Tirmidhi and Darami)
Recite Ikhlas 100 Times and Enter Paradise to Your Right
Hazrat Anas (RA) has reported the saying of Rasulallah (SAW) that, “If anyone who is about to sleep on his bed lies on his right side, then recited Al-Ikhlas 100 times, Allah will say to him on the Day of the resurrection, ‘My slave, enter Paradie to your right side.‘” (Tirmizi)
Surat al-ikhlas is a means of entering paradise.
In a hadith Abu Hurairah (RA) said: “I arrived with the Prophet (SAW) and he heard a man reciting surat qul hu-wallaahu ‘ahad, and when he finished reading it, the Prophet (SAW) said: ‘inevitable!’ so I asked: ‘what is inevitable, O Messenger of Allah?’ he, Nabi (SAW) said: ‘paradise!’ I wanted to go and give the man the glad tidings, but I was afraid that I would miss lunch with the Prophet (SAW), and when I returned later, the man had gone.”
In another hadith, narrated by Anas (RA), a man came to the Prophet (SAW) and said: “I love surah qul hu-wallaahu ‘ahad”. The Prophet (SAW) said: “your love of it has granted you paradise.”
In another hadith, the Prophet (SAW) said: “whoever goes to bed at to sleep and lies on his right side and he recites surat qul hu-wallaahu ‘ahad 100 times, on the day of judgment the lord, praise be to him, will say to him: ‘O my servant! Enter paradise on your right.’”
